The following is the schedule for Team and Individual Sports Pictures on Thursday 1/18:
2:00 pm  8th Grade Boys Basketball
2:05pm   7th Grade Boys Basketball
2:25pm   8th Grade Girls Basketball
2:30pm   7th Grade Girls Basketball
2:35pm   Basketball Cheerleaders
Picture Forms will be given to all coaches today! Pictures will be taken in the gymnasium!

Nordic Ski Club will be meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 17th 
directly after school in room 3840.

Guitar Club will be happening on Thursday rather than Wednesday this week at the same time and same place.

This is a red week, and today's lessons are 7th grade clarinets, 8th grade clarinets/bassoon, and 8th grade flutes.

The 6th grade book club will meet in the learning commons during lunch and motor break. 

I-Team will be meeting today after school.

What breed of dog has the most coins? 
A bloodhound; it is always picking up cents. Remember that we are still fundraising for Pennies for Patients! Please bring in your donations.

We will be starting the Rubik's Cube club on January 30thThe club will run from 2:30 to 3:30 on Tuesdays' in February. During the club we will learn to solve the cube, and make mosaic pictures.  For students that did it last year with Mr. Karod we also will have the 2x2 cubes. If you are interested there are permission slips in the office, please return them by January 23rd. Ms. Karod has room for 20 students.
Yearbooks are still for sale! 
Yearbooks can be ordered online at 
https://www.treering.com/validate?PassCode=1014564198023651 or in the main office (see Ms. Sharon) until April 1st. Softcover books are $20. Hardcover is $6.95 extra. 
Ordering through the TreeRing website will allow you to customize 2 pages in your book with your own photos and memories.

Reminder to the basketball teams that have the 2nd practice and go to the supervision with Mrs. Rioux: Please do not go to her classroom until the 2:30 walker bell.
Reminder to students that if you want to attend a basketball game during the season you have to go home on the bus and come back with an adult who is responsible for your supervision during the game. Thank you for your cooperation!

On Thursday, January 25th Brunswick School Department is hosting a screening of the movie Angst at 6:30pm at  Brunswick High School. More info at

Art Opportunity! The Centre Street Art Gallery in Bath is looking for original student artwork for their upcoming show.  If you are interested please fill out the registration form.  If you have any questions you can contact the art gallery directly:

The Student Show will run from February 23 through March 17 with a reception scheduled for Saturday, March 17 from 2:00 to 4:00.

**Indoor Winter Soccer/Tennis! Registration now available for 6-8th graders within our district.  Program runs inside Feb 7th then moves outside until June 8th.  Forms are available in B’ham, Bowdoin & Middle school as well as Bowdoinham town office & http://www.bowdoinham.com/recreation 

 **Lost Valley Ski/Snowboard Program is for 3rd graders to adults! Go to LostValleySki.com/Bowdoinham.html for your discounted tickets. Bus transportation is available. Informational letter is available on the Recreation Wall in the town office as well as RIGHT HERE -6 Lessons $140 and covers the 3-8pm ski time -Ticket only option $85 Dates: Fridays Jan 12-Feb 16th . Registration after Dec 15th may be taken but with a $15 late fee as per Lost Valley’s registration process. 

 **Community Swim starts up again Sunday, Jan 7th at the Bowdoin College pool. 4:30- 5:30pm is our SAD 75 hour free to the community. $2 for non-district members so bring a friend or family member! Dates for swim: Jan 7,14, 21,28 Feb 4, 11, 18 March 4, 11, 25.
