The 2019 Summer Theater Project camps are now open for registration!

Today's sectionals are 7th grade trombones during block A and 7th grade percussion during block B.


Have you donated to the can drive in the box in your team gathering area? If you want the pizza party (we know you do!) Don't worry it’s not too late to get your cans in! Also if you are interested it’s not too late to join the Interact Club, the next meeting is March 27th in Ms. Emerson's room. Remember all the cans you donate are going to the Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention Program.
Miss Donna's Pet Care Package! Please join MAMS Student Council in honoring Miss Donna's memory. To participate, please bring in an item to donate to the Midcoast Humane Society to your team area from March 11-22. Please help us remember Miss Donna by helping the pets.


Spring Sports sign ups for will start on Monday, March 18th and will run through Wednesday, March 20th. Sign up sheets and Parent Consent Forms will be on table outside cafeteria during all lunches. Tryouts will start the week of April 1st. Schedule will be posted on Weds. March 20th.Spring Sports are the following: 8th Softball 7th Softball 8th Baseball 7th Baseball 6-8th Track & Field
Just a reminder that Track sign ups are happening next week March 18-20 for grades 6-8 track & field. Our season starts officially on March 27. We will hold a meeting and practice for 6th grade ONLY that day. Athletes must be prepared for practice. Prepared for practice means you must have all your paperwork completed, a water bottle, running shoes, shorts, t-shirt, warm up pants and warm up jacket or sweatshirt. These items are required for every practice for the entire season, regardless of temperature and weather. Hat and gloves are not required, but strongly encouraged. Our meeting will be at the walker bell in the cafe followed with an outdoor practice. Athletes who come to practice unprepared will not be permitted to practice. Practice will finish at 4:15 and athletes may either ride the late bus home or be picked up in front of MAMS at 4:20.

We will hold our PARENT meeting on 3/28 at 5:30 at MAMS in rooms 1402/1403. This meeting is for all parents to attend to understand our expectations and rules for our team, meet our coaching staff, and to ask any questions you may have about spring track and field at MAMS.

Hats and gloves are always encouraged. Our practices will be held Monday-Thursday (4/1-4/4) from 2:20-4:15. Athletes can ride the late bus home or be picked up at MAMS by 4:20. 

I actively use a Facebook group daily for reminders and announcements, you can find us on FB at “MAMSSpringTrack2019”.  We do also send a weekly email with a summary of the week once a week, and the email list will be created once athletes return paperwork at our first practices.

Do you love Maine Student Book Awards and competition? If so, please sign up to compete in the first ever MSAD 75/MSBA Battle of the Books Tournament! The tournament is open to all MAMS students. The Tournament will take place in the Learning Commons on Thursday, March 28 at 9:30 AM. MAMS teams will be competing with teams from Bowdoin Central School and Bowdoinham Community School. Stop by the Learning Commons, the main office, or look on the news page on the MAMS website for a MSBA Tournament Permission Form and a team signup form.
Heart and Sole/Girls on the Run Starts Monday, March 18th. It will be on Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 to 4:00. Your homeroom teachers have information if you're interested! If you have any other questions please see Mrs. Karod!
