Boy's Basketball teams will be dismissed today at 1:50 pm.

Reminder to the 8th graders going on the Freedom Tour in April, you have a meeting tonight in the Orion starting at 6pm sharp!

Due to uncertain weather, mural group is unfortunately cancelled for tomorrow. 

Interact Club will meet this Thursday from 2:20-3:30 in room 2730.  Remember that you can bring a friend this week!

Wrestling Signup & Parent Consent Forms will be on table outside the cafeteria during all lunches on Tuesday Jan. 23rd for any students interested in wrestling this year. Coach Taylor & Coach Kenney will be at signup tables to answer questions about the program. First practice will be held Monday Feb. 5th. All students participating in this program must turn in a Completed Parent Consent Form to Coach Taylor on Feb. 5th.

The Eagles Girls Hockey Team played a great game Sunday night beating York 4-2.  Goals were scored by Jazzy Huntsman, Mallory Stuart and Megan Reed had 2 goals and an assist. Angel Huntsman assisted 2 goals and Emelia Baker had one assist.  Greta Marchildon played another fabulous game in goal. Congratulations girls! Their next game is Sunday, January 28th, 7:00 PM at Bowdoin College. Come out and help cheer these girls on!"

For band lessons it is a blue week, so today's lessons are 8th grade low brass and 7th grade flutes.

Due to the forecasted storm on Tuesday 1/23 the MAMS Girls & Boys Basketball Games with Auburn MS have been moved to Monday 1/22. The schedule will be the following:
Monday 1/22  Auburn MS Girls @ MAMS~7th 3:30pm~8th 4:45pm .

The Barrett homeroom has already filled their box once! They've raised $300 already!  Can your homeroom beat that?  You have until next Friday to try!

The 7th and 8th grade book club will now be meeting on Mondays after school, starting this coming Monday, Jan. 22nd.

We will be starting the Rubik's Cube club on January 30thThe club will run from 2:30 to 3:30 on Tuesdays' in February. During the club we will learn to solve the cube, and make mosaic pictures. For students that did it last year with Ms. Karod we also will have the 2x2 cubes. If you are interested there are permission slips in the office, please return them by January 23rd. Ms. Karod has room for 20 students.
Yearbooks are still for sale!
Yearbooks can be ordered online at or in the main office (see Ms. Sharon) until April 1st. Softcover books are $20. Hardcover is $6.95 extra. 
Ordering through the TreeRing website will allow you to customize 2 pages in your book with your own photos and memories.

Reminder to the basketball teams that have the 2nd practice and go to the supervision with Mrs. Rioux: Please do not go to her classroom until the 2:30 walker bell.
Reminder to students that if you want to attend a basketball game during the season you have to go home on the bus and come back with an adult who is responsible for your supervision during the game. Thank you for your cooperation!

**Indoor Winter Soccer/Tennis! Registration now available for 6-8th graders within our district.  Program runs inside Feb 7th then moves outside until June 8th.  Forms are available in B’ham, Bowdoin & Middle school as well as Bowdoinham town office & 

 **Lost Valley Ski/Snowboard Program is for 3rd graders to adults! Go to for your discounted tickets. Bus transportation is available. Informational letter is available on the Recreation Wall in the town office as well as RIGHT HERE -6 Lessons $140 and covers the 3-8pm ski time -Ticket only option $85 Dates: Fridays Jan 12-Feb 16th . Registration after Dec 15th may be taken but with a $15 late fee as per Lost Valley’s registration process. 

 **Community Swim starts up again Sunday, Jan 7th at the Bowdoin College pool. 4:30- 5:30pm is our SAD 75 hour free to the community. $2 for non-district members so bring a friend or family member! Dates for swim: Jan 7,14, 21,28 Feb 4, 11, 18 March 4, 11, 25.
